The National Conference Rally for the Child Evangelism Fellowship of Australia (CEF) will feature the newly appointed Ministry Development Director, Mr Terry Flannigan, who will address the subject: “Without VISION the Children Perish.”

The Rally will be held in the Lidcombe-Berala Baptist Church, Corner Olympic Drive and Kerrs Road, Lidcombe on Saturday, 21st September, 2013 at 2.00pm.

CEF was established in the USA in 1937 by the Rev J Irvin Overholtzer, a pastor deeply burdened by God for children in need of a Saviour. Since then it has grown into a world-wide ministry and now operates in over 183 countries. The International Headquarters is based in Warrenton, MO. USA. The mission of CEF is to evangelise children with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to disciple them in the Word of God and into a Bible-Believing Church.

Last year, through the ministries of CEF, over 14 million children worldwide heard the good news with many making professions of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Australian work was commenced in Sydney in 1949 and currently operates in Western Australia, Victoria, Tasmania, and New South Wales.

The Resource Centre and National Office are located at 21/354 Park Road, Regents Park in Sydney.

Terry Flannigan and his wife, Wilma, have served CEF for 45 years and have gained experience of CEF work in over 50 countries. Their new position as International Ministry Development Directors will see them equipping children’s workers with literature and caring for their spiritual needs.

They will also be available to speak at National and Regional Conferences when invited to do so.

They will be in Australia from 15 September 2013 to 23 September 2013 and will be available for interviews and speaking engagements during that period.
