TRADITIONAL VALUES BITE LABOR

Saturday's election swings, to the Liberals in Tasmania and South Australia, are further evidence that Australians are voting for the political parties that hold stronger traditional family values.

Working class Christians are voting for their faith and not for their union's political Interests. Other working Australians have woken up that the Judeo-Christian heritage and values that they are attracted to and which were once a bright shining light on the ALP hilltop, is now just a distant flicker in the ALP basement.

There was a time when both sides of politics operated with the same underlying moral code. Judeo-Christian values were the foundation on which both major parties operated. Modern Labor has turned its back on these traditional values. It has trumpeted itself as the great promoter of progressive social issues such as same sex marriage and other family destroying policies, and has mocked the Coalition parties for supposedly upholding the values of the 1950s.

It is now time for the ALP to wake up and see that they have pushed too hard against traditional family values, and that voters are biting them back at the ballot box for doing so.

The ALP and its union backers need to, to put it bluntly, repent and get back to the Judeo-Christian values that made the Labor movement great and a strong protector of traditional family values.

The social policies of the Greens are beyond the pale, and in Tasmania they have paid the price. They have a huge transformation of the mind ahead of them. We wish them well if they too rise to this challenge.
