Christians worldwide are being called to pray for a leader a day in the lead-up to the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Brisbane,
Australia on November 15–16, 2014.

Prayerforleaders.com – a website hosted by Brisbane networking group Business Blessings, on behalf of local churches –
suggests a leader a day as a focus for prayer.

Business Blessings CEO Wes Leake said the G20 was an opportunity for Christians to pray for the world’s top leaders and
the economic decisions they will be making.

“It’s an opportunity for the Church to step up, be aware of what’s happening and be praying for these leaders,” he said.

“There’s not an aspect of the G20 that won’t affect all of us because the decisions they make will impact our jobs, our
property prices and our economic growth in the future.

“Praying for a different leader every day is a meaningful, powerful way to have a voice and a say in our future.”

The largest event of its kind that Australia has ever hosted, the G20 will see 4000 leaders and 3000 media representatives
converge on Brisbane.

To coincide, Wes said Business Blessings was helping to plan special events.

On Sunday, November 16 – day 2 of the G20 – former deputy Prime Minister John Anderson will be guest speaker at a
special church service at the City Tabernacle Baptist Church. The service begins at 10.30am, and representatives of world
leaders have been invited to attend to receive a commemorative G20 Bible, courtesy of The Bible Society.
