Easter Sunday at Sydney Opera House

As the sun rises on Easter Day, songs of praise from the Opera House will echo across Sydney Harbour.
Jack Vidgen, winner of Australia’s Got Talent, will join hundreds of people from all walks of life to celebrate the power and joy of Jesus’ resurrection.
The service will be led by Wesley Mission Superintendent the Rev Dr Keith Garner, who will also deliver the address to a national audience as the service is broadcast through Channel 9 and simulcast on Hope 103.2 FM and other stations across Australia. Wesley Mission’s Easter Sunrise Service has been part of the Easter calendar for over 50 years. Numbers attending the service have progressively grown during the past few years.
Wesley Mission will host a series of powerful Easter events, re-enactments and worship services during Holy Week 2012.
For more than 50 years Wesley Mission has taken the story of Easter into the public space giving people the opportunity to hear and share in the message of Easter.

Public Parking
The Sydney Opera House Wilson carpark will open from 5 am for the Sunrise Service. Parking on Easter Sunday is at a special flat rate of $15 if you vacate the carpark before 5 pm.
