Australia Big Ride – Karratha to Coral BayAfter 531 km in 4 days, the Australia Big Ride arrived in Coral Bay yesterday for their second rest day. There was some tough days into headwinds that called on their strength and dropped the rider’s average speeds by 4-5 kph. Everyone is pleased to be at beautiful Coral Bay for a break, and some are trying to get out on the Ningaloo Reef today. Unfortunately Colin from Maitland in the NSW had a fall and fractured his collarbone and shoulder blade on the first day out of Karratha. His best option was to pull out of the ride and return home. He’s now mending and resting, and looks forward to riding in the Blue Lizard ride in September. Please pray for his speedy recovery and return. Key statistics:
